In May 2008 I went to Berlin on a commission to create a series of 6 wall panels for the nightclub CRUSH (also known as COOKIES), on Behrentsr in the Mitte area of Berlin.

It was for a night on the bank holiday weekend of the 11th of May featuring DJ PRINS THOMAS.

Each of the six panels was approximately 10 feet (3 meters) high, and 5 feet (1.5 meters) across. They were made from a wood blend coated with shiny white plastic. I used Staedtler marker pens with black ink to draw the images, and I had several people helping me to fill in the larger areas of black. We had four days to complete the project before opening night.

The designs I made used photos from the party photo website NEON SLEEP as a source, which I then cut up and redesigned.

My work was also used for the promotional flyers and posters for the night. The drawings are from a commission I did in '07, using photos from a party in London.
